The WAVES Challenges are designed to inspire
students to explore filmmaking and other creative
disciplines as part of their education. Although
India has immense creative talent, formal education
in filmmaking is not yet part of the high school
curriculum. WAVES will not only encourage students
to undertake creative projects but also introduce
them to various career paths within the media and
          entertainment industry. By mainstreaming creative
and performing arts, these challenges will elevate
the importance of media-related skills in students'
minds, aligning with India's 'Create in India' mission.
This initiative also highlights the country's vast
cultural heritage, empowering Indian creators to Chaitanya Chinchlikar
