Mandapa was founded in 1975 in Paris
by my late parents, Milena Salvini (Padma
Shri Awardee 2019) and Roger Filipuzzi, as my
mother was looking for a studio to give her
Indian dance classes. It is from their common
love for India, the love of performing arts in
general that Mandapa was born, as well as all
their projects, within its walls, and beyond.
