our true 'Swadeshi' spirit. Choosing a locally
made diya over a factory-made lamp, or a
handloom saree over imported fabric, empowers
the creators who are the custodians of India's
cultural heritage. By making such conscious
purchases, we directly contribute to keeping our
cultural legacy alive and empowering the hands
that create it.

Inspired by this, the
Ministry of Textiles
has launched
the ‘Swadeshi
Campaign’ this
year to boost
domestic demand
for handloom,
handicraft, and
textile products.
