Simultaneously, within India,
the 'Kashi Tamil Sangamam'
(KTS) takes the light as an
unprecedented domestic
cultural exchange. This
government-led programme
bridges the North and South by
bringing the cultures of Tamil
Nadu and Kashi together. Its
most impactful aspect has
been the 'Learn Tamil - Tamil
Karakalam' campaign, run in
over 50 schools in Varanasi.
The ‘Tamil Karakalam’
initiative was a central
educational component of the
Fourth Edition of Kashi Tamil
Sangamam (KTS 4.0), held from
December 2025, in Varanasi. This
