Nageswara Rao Tapan Sinha was one of the most
prominent Bengali filmmakers
Akkineni Nageswara Rao(ANR) known for his thought-provoking
revolutionised Telugu cinema films that offered a new vision
by starring in over 255 films to society. His films including
encompassing a wide range of Kabuliwala, Louha-Kapat, Hatey
genres from biographical films to Bazarey earned him National Film
romantic dramas to traditional Awards. He was also awarded
narratives. His accolades also Padma Shri in 1992 and Dadasaheb
include Dadasaheb Phalke Award Phalke award in 2006 by the
(1990), Padma Shri (1968), Padma Government of India.
