Sarovars have been completed
to achieve this goal and these
sarovars are proving very helpful
in rain water conservation. The
most important factor behind
the success of this mission is
public participation. No scheme
can produce desired results
unless the whole society feels
that water conservation is a
collective responsibility of every
citizen. People in various parts of
the country voluntarily undertake
are playing an active role to
cleanse water tanks to conserve
rain water and to rejuvenate the
traditional water sources. These
collective efforts ensure long
term success of these projects.
My personal experience
is a testimony to the fact that
