'Water is life'. This is not merely a
statement but is, in fact, the very basis of
human existence. Presently with growing
heat in many parts or the country, water
crisis is also deepening and water
conservation has become our collective
responsibility. "50 lakh water conservation
structures" is India's ambitious and
motivating initiative to ensure water
conservation. Specially, summer season
is a vital period to strengthen our efforts
to conserve water. During this time, levels
of water resources go down, increasing
our dependence on ground water and
we also realise the true value of water in
human life. That actually is the time when
awareness for conserving water must be
the guiding factor to translate the idea
