Tradition to Transformation

How India’s Arts and Skills Empower Communities

India’s traditional arts and cultural practices are not only
symbols of identity and heritage, they are also powerful instruments
of economic empowerment. In the recent episode of 'Mann ki Baat',
Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted three such inspiring efforts
        - the Narasapuram Lace Craft of Andhra Pradesh, the transformation
of bamboo and wood handicrafts into sustainable enterprises
and Floriculture initiatives in Manipur. Together, these stories show
how tradition, when aligned with innovation, market access, and
Government’s support, becomes a powerful vehicle for inclusive
        economic growth.
