Khelo India Winter Games 2025 in Gulmarg to Cricket under floodlights

in Pulwama and vibrant Khelo India Water Sports Festival 2025 on
Dal Lake, sports have emerged as a unifying force, driving prosperity
and instilling a spirit of togetherness among people across the Union
Territory.
Khelo India Winter Games 2025 : A Winter Carnival in the
Himalayas
The year started with the Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG) 2025,
which have brought global attention to the snowy landscapes of

Jammu & Kashmir. Conducted in two phases, first in Ladakh (Jan 23-
27) and then in J&K (March 9-12), the event saw participation from over
400 athletes representing 19 teams across six winter sports disciplines.
