                                          Dear Kultar,
                                          Today, seeing tears in your eyes filled me with deep
                                          sorrow. There was a lot of pain in your words today.
                                          I cannot bear your tears. My dear, keep pursuing
                                          your education with courage and take care of your
                                          health. Stay strong. And what more can I say? What
                                          poetry shall I write for you? Listen-
                                            “Usey yeh fikr hai hardam naya tarz-e-jafa kya hai
                                           Humein yeh shauq hai dekhei'n sitam ki inteha kya hai”
                                           “Dahr se kyu'n khafa rahei'n charkh ka kyu'n gila karei'n
                                             Saara jahaa'n adu sahi aao muqaabla karei'n”
                                             “Koi dam ka mehmaa'n hoo'n ae ahle-mehfil
                                             Charaagh-e-sahar hoo'n bujha chahta hoo'n”
                                               “Mere hawa mein rahegi khayaal ki bijli
                                             Yeh musht-e-khak hai faani rahe rahe na rahe”
                                          Well, goodbye!
                                          “Khush raho ahle-watan hum to safar karte hai'n”
