Vishwakarma Jayanti



                             Salute to the hands that laid the
                                      foundation of the country




























            In India, traditions and festivals are not limited to religious beliefs.
        These also serve as a means of honouring the hard work of society's
        labourers  and artisans.  One such sacred  occasion is Vishwakarma

        Jayanti. It is celebrated every year on September 17th. This day is
        dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, who is considered the first craftsman
        of the universe and the architect of the gods.
            Lord Vishwakarma is known as the ‘Adikarigar.’ According to
        mythology, he was responsible for the creation of Indrapuri, Dwarka,
        Hastinapur, and Lord Shiva's Trishul. Therefore, he is considered the
        god of crafts, art, and construction.

            Importance of Vishwakarma Jayanti
            Vishwakarma  Jayanti's  significance  isn't  just  religious,  but  also
        social. Even today, in our villages, towns, and cities, there are countless
        artisans, masons, carpenters, sculptors, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, and
