I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting our journey
in 'Mann ki Baat' and congratulate him on the success of Operation
Sindoor. Our story began in 2012 when a bee hive at our building was
destroyed out of fear. I was working in IT then, but the incident deeply
moved me. It struck me—everyone wants pure honey, yet no one wants
bees around. That thought changed my life. I left my job and began
working to save bees. Since then, we've rescued over 17,000 hives. In
2016, I founded Bee Basket, and today we are a team of five.
Every village, taluka, and city should have a Bee Mitra or Madhu Palak,
so wild bees are protected—not exterminated. When bees are saved,
agriculture is saved—and so is our country.
