UJALA (Unnat Jyoti by Affordable
LEDs for All) is part of the
Government of India’s efforts to
spread the message of energy
efficiency in the country. It was
January 05, 2015 by

aims to promote efficient use of
the residential level,
enhance the awareness of consumers
about the efficacy of using energy-
appliances and aggregate
demand to reduce the high initial 23.59 LAKH FANS
costs thus facilitating higher uptake of
LED lights by residential users.
Under this scheme, LED bulbs, LED
tube lights and energy-efficient
are being provided to domestic consumers for replacement of the conventional and
